Our residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education to develop managed care pharmacist practitioners with advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities in patient care, practice management, leadership, and education. Graduates are prepared to:
Deliver patient care at a high level.
Seek board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS).
Pursue advanced training opportunities, including PGY2 residencies.
The True Rx Health Strategists PGY1 residency is currently in pre-candidate status, pursuing accreditation through the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) in partnership with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP).
